I thought I had posted on this article - but guess not. Anyway, I enjoyed this article on "E-xcellence in the workplace" - it's so true. You HAVE to be the best you can be more today than ever. There's so much competition in the market and if you don't set yourself apart from everyone else by being the best in that "area" or "field of expertise"....than you may be setting yourself up for failure. We try to teach this to our students and I try to convey this to my clients (which happened to be students)... that you have to do your best in school, set yourself apart from everyone else - invent yourself - if the student is going for a particular job - they have to really stand out because of the competition. You have to constantly re-invent yourself if whatever you're saying or doing is working for you.

Love the article!

E-Xcellence in the workplace. Again we are in the true age of technology. If you are going to 'survive' in the workforce, you must be prepared to deal with E-Xcellence. This is also to the wok=rk that is given to a client. They will need to have all the ammunition needed to go forward...we in turn must fuel that cause. We must have E-Xcellence in all that we do.

This article sparks a new way of thinking. Today with our current job market we, our consumers must think as E-ntrepreneurial workforce. In WIA, we work with participants who are faced with searching for employment after being on a job for 20 or more years and this concept of selling them selves and making themselves more marketable is hard, but it's necessary.
